Silverbead copper shims – level gaps and conduct heat
The gap between chip and heatsink is not always the right height. Copper shims bridge this gap, compensate for manufacturing tolerances and conduct heat with copper's very high thermal conductivity. Typical applications include graphics cards, VRAM, VRM, chipsets and LEDs.
Key features
- Copper thermal conductivity: 401 W/m·K
- Can be used as a spacer and thermal bridge
- Precise dimensions: 20 x 20 x 1 mm
- Content: 10 pcs
Note: The shim only conducts heat reliably with thermal paste on both sides. Without paste, air gaps form and significantly reduce heat transfer. Copper is electrically conductive – keep sufficient distance from contacts.
